official Pokemon Reloaded site is light for a full RPG, but long sessions still eat battery. These tweaks buy real extra hours.
Screen settings first
The display is the biggest drain. Drop brightness to the lowest comfortable level and shorten the screen timeout for menu breaks. If your phone has a high refresh rate mode, lock it to 60 Hz while playing; the game does not benefit from 120 Hz.
Close the background
Kill background apps before long sessions, especially anything with location or sync running. Turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when playing offline; the story mode needs neither. Airplane mode with Wi-Fi off is the maximum-saving setup for travel.
In-game habits
Use the in-game menu pause during breaks instead of leaving the game running on the map. Long grinding sessions are better split into two sittings than one marathon; heat throttles performance and drains faster. Players on TV boxes should read the Android TV guide for the heat side of this, and beginners should note that grinding efficiently beats grinding longer.
A final note on charging: playing while plugged in keeps the session going but generates extra heat, which ages batteries faster. If you play plugged in, remove thick cases so heat escapes, and use a standard charger instead of a fast one during long sessions. Your battery will thank you a year from now.
